Bayern Munich 2 United 1

This was always going to be a tense encounter. United have never kept a clean sheet in Germany, the only win against Munich came in THAT came 11 years ago and the old England v Germany rivalry is always exciting. However, by the end of the night I was nothing short of distraught. The loss, in stoppage time, and the injury to Rooney could well shape the end of the season. It really is squeaky bum time now.

United 2 Liverpool 1

The sun was shining, United were winning and the at the end of the day we were top of the league too. How good can one day be?! The match might have been as dull as a 2 hour interview with Alan hansen, but at this stage of the season a win is a win, and doing it against that lot is always a pleasure.

United 3 Fulham 0

United have come a long way since losing at Craven Cottage. That day the team could have played all night and not scored, whereas now we can put away seven in two legs against AC Milan. But every Red who witnessed that terrible performance against Fulham last year wanted revenge, and there was no better time to do it than in the title run in, after Fulham had also had a knackering trip to Juventus. United 4 AC Milan 0

3-2 in the San Siro was enjoyable, but this was immense. United tore Milan to shreds in a cauldron of anti-Glazer protests, and sent two powerful messages to the rest of football; without Ronaldo we can still be successful and sell up Glazers, you are not wanted.

Wolves 0 United 1

As the season nears its end no game can be considered easy. Wolves have found some decent form of late and deserved something out of their game against Chelsea, and so hopes were not over confident about this game. Especially with no Rooney and no Fletcher, and with others clearly having half an eye on the Milan game. So, on reflection, getting three points was a fantastic result even if the performance was far from convincing. Read more
