West Brom 0 United 5

Every season there is one game that turns out to be a great night away from home. This season so far that night was West Brom, as United spanked the home side scoring five and turning on the style. All season the worry so far has been that we are not converting chances but those who said the goals were bound to come in abundance were finally proved right at the Hawthorns. United absolutely hammered the home team and the score line was not even especially flattering. It was victory that must have shaken Benitez to the core and one that had the away end buzzing. Bolton 0 United 1

The Reebok is a tricky place to go, especially without at least half of your first choice defence and Wayne Rooney, but United fully deserved their win. Yes it was late and yes it was almost a draw, but over ninety minutes it was incredible that the goal had not come earlier. The moment the ball hit the net was sensational, my crutches flew in the air, and hopefully these will be the moments we look back on come May as that extra edge that takes us to another 3 in a row. United 3 Chelsea 0

I never expected to be going to this game so soon after an operation on my ankle, but over the last few days I started thinking of ways to do it. After careful consideration I arranged a disabled car park permit from United, lift passes to get me up to Tier 2 and found a driver to get me to and from Old Trafford. Even then I was worried about the crowds, getting to my seats from the concourse and all the other problems that might arise if I bashed my ankle into anything. Having now got home in one piece I am of course unbelievable happy I went to that game. Read more
